The Pro-Ride® Difference
Pro-Ride® is the latest technology in synthetic racing and training surfaces for Thoroughbred horses. Our patented, advanced binding system has set us apart from our competitors.
- The polymer based Pro-Ride® binder has a more stable and wider viscosity range than wax based binders. This means a more consistent track over a wider temperature range.
- The surface has a high level of cushioning as well as very low kick back.
- No water is required to maintain performance of a Pro-Ride® track.
- It is the only synthetic surface that was developed in the Southern Hemisphere and therefore caters better to the vast temperature fluctuations that can occur.
Maintenance Program
Pro-Ride Racing offers a complete Maintenance Program, taking full responsibility for both the performance and condition of the track.
The program covers all materials (additional binder and fibre as and when required) as well as deep mixing to maintain the track’s density, consistency and infiltration rates as per the benchmarks and Key Performance Indicators set at the time of installation.
Warranty
The track’s warranty period is a minimum of 10 years, provided the track is maintained in accordance with the Pro-Ride maintenance schedule. Our oldest track has now been in continuous use for over 10 years.
We would anticipate a major refurbishment of the top 30mm around years 8 to 10, after which the normal maintenance program would continue.
