The Next Generation in non wax all-weather synthetic track development
Rosehill Gardens with Pro-Rides innovative all-weather synthetic track
Pro-Ride® is the Next Generation in all-weather synthetic track surface technology.
Pro-Ride's all-weather synthetic track surface has the world's only 2-phase cushioning capability and is backed by an Australian Government initiative through AusIndustry.
Pro-Ride's all-weather synthetic surface provides longer racing life, approximately 30% increase to winning revenue with a minimum 60% saving on horse injuries.
Return on Investment is unmatched by any other surface.

The new Pro-Ride® surface is now in place at Santa Anita. Trainers, jockeys, owners and bettors alike have had the opportunity to form an opinion on the surface.

Below is a summary of their thoughts:

Clifford Sise, A.C. Avila and Frank Monteleone endorse Santa Anita's newly refurbished Pro-Ride track.
Sise worked the top horse in his stable, Idiot Proof, and was impressed by the track.
"It's in good shape," Sise said. "He looked like he got over it. It's got some cushion. I think everyone will be happy with the track."

"You don't see kickback," said A.C. Avila, who has 15 horses at Santa Anita. "It's very good so far. The horses are coming back in good shape."
Trainer Frank Monteleone said the surface was kinder than Del Mar's Polytrack surface, which he said caused a rash of bruised feet in his stable.
"This is much better than where they came from," he said.

Colonel John handles Santa Anita’s Pro Ride very well.
Colonel John worked four furlongs Sept. 14 on Santa Anita’s Pro-Ride surface.

"I thought he handled this surface very well," Harty said of Colonel John’s first workout on Santa Anita’s new Pro-Ride track. "I think this surface is just better than the one we had here before. I thought Ian Pearse of Pro-Ride Racing did a marvellous job when he came in and fixed the track last winter. But I think this surface is even better."

Racing Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens gives a ringing endorsement of the Pro Ride surface at Santa Anita Park.
“This is the best track I’ve ever been on,” said Stevens, who estimates he has ridden on 200 to 300 hundred tracks around the world during his career.

Stevens breezed a horse on the surface during an early-morning private session then delivered his glowing report to Santa Anita president Ron Charles.
“If this track is maintained properly and it remains as it is today, I can truthfully say it’s the best track I’ve ridden on,” said Stevens.

Pro-Ride's patented polymeric binder is a world first in 2-phase cushioning technology.
Pro-Ride® is NOT a WAX based binder.
The Pro-Ride® all-weather synthetic surface requires NO WATER.
This pioneering technology has the ability to control viscosity over a greater temperature range.

The introduction of a Pro-Ride® all-weather synthetic track at your facility will provide you with:

Carl Nafzger - 2-time Kentucky Derby winner
Two-time Kentucky Derby winning trainer Carl Nafzger believes trainers across the country should consider the benefits of a Pro-Ride® surface.
Pro-Ride Racing's synthetic surface performed beautifully last winter at the Skylight Training Center providing Carl Nafzger and Ian Wilkes with uninterrupted training while surfaces all around them struggled with the harsh conditions.
Both Carl and Ian have been effusive in their praise of the Pro-Ride® surface noting how it has maintained its consistency and provided an even and stable surface, even when the mercury dipped below freezing.
Reduced jarring, thanks to the unique 2-phase cushioning, allows the horses to train regularly and return to racing quicker than otherwise might be the case.
Minimal kickback reducing inhalation by horse and jockey was also a bonus from Carl and Ian's perspective.
Will Carl's third Kentucky Derby winner be trained on a Pro-Ride® surface? Fingers crossed.
